Count stock
Counting (a stocktake) corrects your inventory when the numbers no longer match reality, for example because something was used without scanning it out. You can count per product or per storage location, confirm the quantity or change it, and remove items that were not found.
Start counting
Press the Count button on the main screen or in the menu.
Count per location
- Choose Per location and select the cupboard, fridge or freezer you want to count.
- For each product the app shows the expected quantity. Press Amount was right, or Change amount and enter what you actually see.
- When you are done, use Delete uncounted items to remove products that are no longer there.

Choose Per item and scan or select a product to check its quantity on every location. Handy when you think a specific product is off.
How often should I count?
For a household, counting one location every few weeks is plenty, for example the freezer before a big shop. Organisations often count monthly. The analytics show your inventory accuracy, so you can see whether counting more often is needed.
