Move stock
With Move you transfer products from one storage location to another, for example from the cellar to the kitchen cupboard or from the fridge to the freezer. Choose the source and destination location, scan the barcode, and the stock is updated on both locations.
How to move stock
- Press the Move button on the main screen or in the menu.
- Select the source location, where the product is now.
- Select the destination location, where the product goes.
- Scan the barcode and enter the quantity.
The app checks that the quantity is actually available at the source location. Moving requires at least two active storage locations.
When is moving useful?
- You keep a supply in the cellar or garage and refill the kitchen from it.
- You freeze bread or meat and want the freezer inventory to be correct.
- An organisation moves goods from a central storeroom to a canteen or bar.
